There are many types of free sample sites out there: there are sites where you click a link and are sent to the manufacturers website or Facebook; ones where you have to sign up and they options for free samples in your email; and some that require signing up, being an active member in their community and giving feedback.
Type 1: Free sample sites that send you to Facebook, or the manufacturers website, are the fastest way to receive free samples. The down side is that the samples are usually small, and when you frequently sign up for samples your email becomes bogged down with junk mail. Some free samples require a phone number when applying, meaning your phone gets spam as well.
Type 2: Websites that send you email options for samples are nice, they don't usually bogg down your email, but usually they limit you to one free sample a month. On the bright side, these websites sometimes send out full size samples. These websites are usually a part of a large manufacturers company.
Type 3: Websites that require you to be an active member of the community are tiresome, but usually the best option. Most websites in this category pay you to test products, but you must remain active in order to qualify to test new products.
